Based in a purpose built temperature controlled environment, our quality assurance department houses a range of automated and manual measuring equipment. Quality is at the heart of Olympus and we pride ourselves on our precision focused approach to manufacture. Teamwork between the quality department and our engineers ensures a high level of communication alongside structured work instructions and control plans.

CAPABILITY
Our well-equipped inspection facility has over 7 CMM machines installed. We have Eley, Leitz, LK and Truth CMMs supported with Renishaw Scanning and profiling heads. We also have a wealth of manual measuring equipment which we use alongside our Vertex, Faro arm and Contracer.
Our highly skilled inspectors use a range of automated computer controlled measuring equipment and also manual gauges to complete all measurements required. Customer driven checking regimes are used to ensure consistent results.
A range of specialist heads are used across our CMM’s to offer a purpose built solution to quality. All programming and calibration is completed in house offering a cost effective solution to your Precision Engineering requirements.
Using the latest software, all of our CMM’s operate using the same language. This gives complete flexibility allowing traffic to flow with ease through our quality assurance department.
